A Magical Journey Comes to an End: Disney's Frozen Jr. Delights Rosebank Audiences
The curtain has closed on Rosebank College's production of Disney's Frozen Jr., and what an extraordinary journey it has been.
Across three sold-out performances in the Benedict Auditorium, more than 2,000 audience members were transported to the enchanting kingdom of Arendelle, where our talented Middle School students brought this beloved story to life with energy, heart and professionalism.
Based on the much-loved Disney film, Frozen Jr. follows the story of sisters Anna and Elsa as they navigate the challenges of family, identity and acceptance. When Elsa's magical powers accidentally plunge Arendelle into an eternal winter, Anna embarks on a courageous quest to find her sister and restore hope to the kingdom. Alongside Kristoff, Sven and the ever-optimistic Olaf, audiences were reminded of the power of friendship, bravery and true love.
Featuring 18 memorable musical numbers, stunning costumes, impressive technical effects and heartfelt performances, the production captivated audiences of all ages. From the opening scenes through to the finale, our students showcased remarkable talent, dedication and teamwork both on stage and behind the scenes.
Productions of this scale are only possible through the collective efforts of many people. We extend our sincere thanks to our cast, crew, orchestra, production team, teaching staff, parent volunteers and families for the countless hours of preparation and support that made this musical such a resounding success.

As Olaf wisely reminds us, "Some people are worth melting for." The friendships formed, skills developed and memories created throughout this production are sure to stay with our students for years to come.
While we bid farewell to Arendelle, the excitement is far from over. Stay tuned for Rosebank's next major production, Big Fish, coming to the stage in March 2027.
