REAL (Rosebank Engages Active Learning) is the acronym used to refer to the philosophy and practical framework used to plan and implement active learning experiences.

Rosebank students are consistently given opportunities to engage in purposeful and productive learning that develops a global perspective. Teaching and learning strategies are designed to be flexible and to promote academic rigour.

The Curriculum is divided into three stages:

STAGE 4 (YEARS 7 & 8)

The Stage 4 Curriculum provides a balance that recognises the importance of the transition between primary and secondary education. It complies with the mandated courses set by the NSW Board of Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES).

In Year 7 students study English, History and Geography in an integrated program, ConnectED. Students also have access to a unique instrumental program.
