Students are supported to discover and develop their talents, to pursue their academic personal best, to become more resilient and to strengthen their capacity to become courageous lifelong learners.

The College is future-focused, acknowledging the demands and complexity of the 21st century,  and is actively engaging with the local and global community in order to prepare students for the modern world. Students are developing higher order and lateral thinking skills through a range of authentic work experiences, learning activities, and industry partnerships. Further, students will graduate from Rosebank College with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, to be confident and innovative, and will be capable of inspiring change in their lives and the lives of others.

Student-Centred Teaching and Learning: Students play an active role in their learning and exercise choice and voice about how they want to learn and how they want to pursue their passions. Teachers serve as facilitators of learning, helping students think critically and fostering a healthy love of learning.

Active Exploration and Discovery: Students are both hands-on and minds-on; learning is about doing as much as it is about understanding. Learning is applied to new and unfamiliar contexts and is authentic, purposeful and relational.  Rosebank College invites students to be actively engaged in their own learning.

A Responsive Learning Environment: The learning environment is carefully planned and well-organised with students as the focus. Students are supported academically and pastorally at Rosebank College and are constantly setting their own personal and academic learning goals. A culture of excellence is celebrated at the College; therefore, students along with their teachers, perform to the best of their ability and work together to achieve the best possible results.

Student Ownership: Students become increasingly responsible for their learning and for the ways they demonstrate understanding.
